PLOTTING
You don't need "plots" or hard copy originals anymore
to reproduce CAD drawings. Using digital printing, your CAD files
are the only "originals" you need. Send them to us by
modem, diskette, CD, Zip, ftp or e-mail, and we can use our high
speed print engines to output them directly onto plain paper at
hundreds of pages per hour. Consider the advantages:
- No need to re-plot expensive vellum originals for each revision.
- Eliminate the plotting bottleneck at the end of the design stage.
- We can maintain images on file for additional printing.
- You no longer have to give up your "originals" or
pay for an expensive set of duplicates to be made. Revised pages
can be sent as needed to update the document set on file. On-demand
printing means you don't have to estimate the number of sets required
in advance. Full or partial sets can be ordered as the need arises.
- Reduced prints can be made for convenience and cost savings.
Smaller documents are often easier to handle and refer to. And
a 50% reduction in size can save up to 2/3 the cost of printing.
Expensive and time consuming "reductions" no longer
have to be made. Instead, prints are simply produced at any size
from the same set of image files or plot files. You give us your
100% originals or plot files, and we can automatically reduce
them. Make overlays of scanned images without importing them into
your CAD drawing or converting them into vector form. A wide variety
of input formats are supported -- AutoCAD DWG, Hewlett-Packard
HPGL, HPGL/2, Tiff, Cals, Group, PDF and postscript.
DIGITAL ARCHIVING
BPXpress can scan or download your originals to our Digital
Vault. Print from Archives Our Archiving Services bridge the gap
between analog and digital. You may send us your paper drawings
and specifications, and we will scan them into high resolution digital
image files, which may be sent electronically anywhere in the world
for a copy. Once we have your digital images in our vault, you may
request copies and distribution sets online for same day delivery
to your office or to a remote office in any city that we serve.
And since the image is stored in a printable format, you are guaranteed
of an exact duplicate, regardless of where it is printed! Originals
on Paper We can accept original B&W paper documents up to 36
x virtually any length. Archiving of color originals may also be
available , please check with us for details. Originals which are
damaged, stapled, taped or tightly rolled, may incur additional
setup costs. You may also request a CD of your documents for safekeeping
or to send to another office. Imaging Technology B&W large format
archiving is done at 400 dpi, in industry standard group IV TIFF
format. The imaging technology that we employ will guarantee that
every reproducible detail is represented exactly as it was on the
original drawing. Small format archiving is handled with the standard
PDF format, which will allow files to be easily printed, or viewed
online.
BPXpress offers scanning services for architecture, engineering,
and corporate customers. We offer large format scanning (up to 36
inches wide) and small format scanning (from 8.5x11 to 11x17). Once
your documents are scanned or "captured" digitally, they
become much more useful than paper copies. Scanned drawings and
documents can be shared on networks, e-mailed, printed, and copied
for backup. And, digital files don't require the storage room of
paper files! A handful of compact disks will contain a room full
of paper documents once scanned. Call us today to find out more
about our scanning solutions!
